Core condition for Wet Belt warranty
We only offer a Wet Belt Parts & Labour warranty if your vehicle is serviced exclusively by E.D.H Wetbelts Ltd — including all oil changes. If you add your own oil at any time, the warranty is void.
What is covered
- Parts and labour for components we supplied and fitted (e.g., wet belt kit, associated tensioners/guides, and stated ancillaries).
- Coverage applies only to the vehicle identified on your invoice.
Warranty period
Unless otherwise stated, the warranty period and mileage limit are those printed on your invoice.
Your obligations (keep the warranty valid)
- All servicing (including interim) must be performed by E.D.H Wetbelts Ltd.
- All oil changes must be carried out by us using the correct manufacturer-spec oil. Any self-added oil voids the warranty.
- Follow manufacturer maintenance schedules and operating recommendations.
- Retain invoices/service records and present them with any claim.
- Stop driving if a warning/fault occurs and contact us first.
What is not covered
- Any vehicle where oil has been added by the owner/driver or a third party during the warranty period.
- Pre-existing faults, underlying engine wear, sludge/contamination present before our work, or damage due to neglect.
- Incorrect fuel, overheating, low oil level/pressure, coolant contamination, lack of maintenance, racing/track/competition use, or non-standard modifications.
- Consequential or indirect losses (e.g., recovery, hire cars, lost earnings) unless required by law.
- Parts not supplied by us or work performed by others.
How to make a claim
- Stop using the vehicle if safe and contact us via the Contact page before any further work is done elsewhere.
- Provide your invoice and service records showing all services/oil changes completed by us.
- Bring the vehicle to our premises for inspection; allow reasonable time to diagnose and verify eligibility.
Remedy & transfer
If a covered part we supplied and fitted is found defective within the warranty period and terms, we will, at our option, repair or replace the part and associated labour for that specific component. The warranty applies to the vehicle listed on the invoice and is not transferable unless confirmed in writing. This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights.
